No access to flowkey Premium content on your Android device (Google Play subscription)?

Here you'll learn what to do if you subscribed via Google Play on an Android device but can't access flowkey Premium content.

You’ve subscribed through Google Play on your mobile device, but don’t have access to flowkey Premium content yet. Below is a list of reasons why this might be happening, and how to resolve them.

Here are 2 reasons why you may not have access to flowkey Premium:

A) You're logged in to a different account.

B) Your purchase wasn't recognized.


A) Make sure you’re logged in to your Premium account

There are several ways to log in to our app. You can use your email address and password, or social logins like Google, Facebook, Apple, or WeChat (depending on your device). This can sometimes result in people accidentally creating multiple accounts.

To rule out this possibility, first confirm which email address or login method you’re using:

  • Check your email inbox(es)—as well as the spam folder(s)—for an email with the subject line "Welcome to flowkey Premium" to identify the email address of your flowkey Premium account.

  • Note: If a social login like Facebook or Google is used, our app will save the email address assigned to that account.

  • Note: If you received our "Welcome to flowkey Premium" email to an email address associated with your Facebook or Google account, that's your login method.

Once you’ve confirmed the email address associated with your flowkey Premium account, move on to the steps below.

On a smartphone

  1. Open the flowkey app.

  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to open the Settings menu.

  3. Tap Log Out (at the bottom of the menu).

  4. Log back in using the email address or social login associated with your flowkey Premium account.

On a tablet

  1. Open the flowkey app.

  2. Tap the gear icon in the bottom left corner to open the Settings menu.

  3. Tap Log Out (at the bottom of the menu).

  4. Log back in using the email address or social login associated with your flowkey Premium account.


B) Contact our support team to check your purchase

We’re happy to help you check your purchase. To do this, please email us at [email protected]. Our support team will need either the purchase order ID of your subscription or the email address assigned to your Google Play account.

If the purchase went through, you would’ve received a payment receipt via email. The purchase order ID can be found on that receipt. It starts with GPA, followed by a series of numbers. With this information, our support team will be able to help you!
